The One

Back in early 2008, when Snowclone's first three songs had been recorded, Tero asked Anna if she had any topic she'd like him to write a song about. Without much thinking, she said "polyamory". The inspiration didn't strike at that time, but the idea was never completely forgotten, either, starting to take form four years later. Tero had written a song he considered the catchiest yet and needed lyrics that would be simple enough but have an interesting twist, and The One was born.

The One is the story of a beginning of a relationship where the circumstances are slightly out of the traditional. Namely, the protagonist is already in at least one relationship with somebody else and wants to inform her new love interest about this upfront in order to avoid misunderstandings.
